AS1851 – 2012 Table 4.4.4. Hydrant Booster Flow Testing.

5 yearly Booster connection flow test. A booster test pumping appliance simulates Fire Brigade operations when firefighting. This test confirms the operation of the booster assembly and that there are no obstructions between the booster assembly and the most disadvantaged remote hydrant point.

AS1851 – 2012 Fire Hydrant Routine Service And Maintenance.

Including Hydrant and booster connection service or replacement, Check valve replacements and all types of hydrostatic and flow testing requirements.

AS2419.1-2005 Section 10 Commissioning, Hydrostatic Testing.

The system shall be pressurised at the elevation of the highest hydrant outlet within each pressure zone, to not less than 1.5 times the highest pressure at that location or 1700 kPa, whichever is the greater.

AS1851 – 2012 Table 4.4.4. Hydrostatic Testing.

The system shall be pressurised at the highest hydrant outlet to not less than 1.5 times the highest pressure at that location or 1700 Kpa, whichever is the greater. The test shall be applied for a duration of 2 hours

AS2419.1-2021 Appendix S Hydrostatic Testing.

A test pressure of not less than 1700kPa measured from the fire brigade booster assembly or 1300kpa at the most hydraulically disadvantaged hydrant valve for a minimum of 2 hours (AS2419.1-2021, Appendix S)
